Communication Styles Workshop hosted by Marychris Melli

Wednesday, May 22nd

6PM to 8PM ET

New York, NY

Join Marychris Melli, professional development coach and Learning Development Consultant at Exec|Comm, for an interactive training workshop on Communication Styles.

About this Workshop:

What are personal communication styles and why are they important to your success? Good questions. A personal communication style is a habitual way a person acts in a given situation.

We all have a personal communication style. It’s the stuff we’re made of, our go to way of interacting. No style is better than another. No style is right or wrong. Each style contains strengths and challenges.

Understanding your personal communication style and knowing how to identify your client’s can dramatically increase your chances of meeting success.

What are your natural communication tendencies? Are you cautious? Flexible? Factual? What about your client’s style? Are they creative? Orderly? Assertive? How do they need to hear information? If your styles are a mismatch, how do you shift gears in the moment to get the results you want?

In this fun, interactive workshop you will learn:

  • How to Identify your personal communication style

  • How your style strengths and challenges show up in client meetings

  • How to utilize your strengths and mitigate your challenges

  • How to Identify the personal communication style of your client

  • How to adopt or “flex” your style to appeal to your client’s style

  • How each style shows up to the negotiation table
